Frequently Asked Questions
Window Tinting in Casper, Wyoming
How dark can I legally tint my windows in Wyoming?
Wyoming law allows any darkness on the rear and back side windows — there is no VLT (visible light transmission) minimum for those positions. The front side windows (driver and passenger) must allow at least 28% VLT. The windshield may have a non-reflective tint strip along the top above the manufacturer's AS-1 line. We always help you choose a film that looks great and stays compliant. Read the full Wyoming statute here.
How long will my tint last?
Every film we install is premium-grade and backed by a manufacturer warranty. FormulaOne and LLumar CTX ceramic films carry a lifetime warranty against peeling, bubbling, cracking, and fading. With proper care you can expect 15–20+ years of performance. We don't install cheap dye-only films that turn purple after a couple of seasons.
Will window tint interfere with my phone, GPS, or radar detector?
Not with the films we carry. Metallic-based tints from the early 2000s were known for blocking signals, but our FormulaOne Pinnacle, Stratos, and LLumar CTX films are 100% metal-free ceramic technology. They reject heat with nano-ceramic particles instead of metal layers, so Bluetooth, GPS, satellite radio, toll transponders, and radar detectors work perfectly.
How do I clean my windows after tint is installed?
Wait at least 30 days before cleaning newly tinted windows so the film can fully cure (you may notice small water pockets — those disappear on their own). After that, use a soft microfiber cloth with a gentle, ammonia-free glass cleaner. Avoid paper towels, abrasive pads, and anything containing ammonia, as they can damage or discolor the film over time.
